Prague, 26 June 2023 – Jaroslav Pantůček, Chairman of the Board of MERO ČR, confirmed the strategic importance of the TAL-PLUS project in an interview for the news website SeznamZprávy. Thanks to the expansion of the capacity of the Transalpine Pipeline, the Czech Republic will be completely independent of Russian crude oil from 2025 onwards. This will significantly strengthen Czech as well as European energy security. The interview also covered the business performance of MERO ČR, other strategic capital projects and the future of the Druzhba pipeline.
